Technology
- Drum is lifted by a tilting device on the back of the glovebox
- The drum is docked onto the designated connection port
- In the initial position, a residual liner closes the glovebox
- The user fixes the outer film tube to the double O-ring port of the isolator via the rest liner
- Operator pulls the restliner into the isolator with the gloves
- Clamping ring is pulled onto the outer groove of the isolator
- Drum opening is pushed into the isolator
- Inner liner is opened and contents emptied with gloves
- Bulk material passes through the glovebox by gravity to the next process step
- Optionally, a suction shoe can be integrated at the end of the hopper for vacuum conveying
- After emptying, the film tube is sealed using a double seal
- Isolator and product are protected from unwanted product leakage or entry by the double sealing technology
- Cycle can start again, new drum can be connected
